The petrochemicals produced at Flint Hills Resources facilities become key ingredients in a variety of consumer products used globally such as plastic beverage bottles and athletic shoes. Flint Hills Resources also offers supply and marketing capabilities – ensuring crude oil for its refineries, and supplying petrochemicals and base oils to global markets.

Marathon Petroleum Company LLC (MPC) is owned 100 percent by Marathon Oil Corporation (as of June 30, 2005). MPC is a highly efficient, cost-effective and competitive refining, marketing and transportation company, commanding approximately $8 billion in assets. MPC is the nation's fifth largest petroleum refiner, representing six percent of the total U.S. capacity.

NOVA Chemicals is a global company incorporated in Canada with executive offices in Pittsburgh, PA that produces commodity plastics and chemicals. NOVA is a leading supplier of olefins (ethylene, propylene) and styrene based products. Its Joffre olefins complex is the world’s third largest.

Suncor Energy Inc. is a Canadian integrated energy company comprised of four operating segments: Oil Sands, Natural Gas, Energy Marketing and Refining – Canada, and Refining and Marketing USA.

Emerson Process Management is a leading global supplier of products, services, and solutions that measure, analyze, control, automate, and improve process-related operations. Evolved from the business previously known as Fisher-Rosemount, it has over 600 locations in more than 85 countries.

Yokogawa Electric Corporation Industrial automation and control, test and measurement, information systems and industry support are the core businesses of Yokogawa. It is headquartered in Tokyo and has a global network of 25 manufacturing facilities and 80 companies spanning 54 countries.

Human factors engineering is the scientific discipline dedicated to improving the human-machine interface and human performance through the application of knowledge on human strengths, weaknesses, and characteristics. Beville offers its customers an objective look at the human factors of plant operations that is backed by over 20 years of experience and data from more than 350 projects. Beville is a company dedicated to identifying and solving difficult human performance problems.
